I was fine, though I was definitely frustrated Mom had to make THAT of all things this morning. Like, maybe if she'd put it all together instead of separately...

Well... It sounded like your side dish was a bit tough to eat, so the first thing I thought of was grilled fish, since it takes time to debone it. 17

And generally you eat rice with fish rather than bread. And you said it'd be easier if it was put together instead, which led me to think of a fish ochazuke. 18

As for which fish, it would have to be one people eat in the morning that can be made into ochazuke, so salmon. I mostly just went with my gut, but I smelled the miso on you. 19
